Mentoring students and encouraging young writers to hone their craft is a key component of the National Writers Series mission. When we bring national best-selling authors to Traverse City, it’s important to us to provide access to them for students at an affordable rate. All students (college level and lower) can purchase tickets to National Writers Series events at a special discounted rate of just $5. Teachers and educators also receive discounted pricing of just $10 for tickets. (Note: Special pricing does not apply to premium NWS fundraising events, such as An Evening with David Sedaris).
