Jeanne Snow brings more than 25 years serving the philanthropic sector. She has experience in strengthening volunteer and donor relations, building the capacity of nonprofits, engaging youth, fundraising, and marketing and planning.

Early in her career—with a Master of Public Education—Jeanne worked as Director of Development for the University of Illinois Foundation. Later, she worked at the executive level in developmental leadership at Purdue University, the Illinois Institute of Technology, and the Chicago Kent College of Law.

More recently, she served for more than a dozen years as the first full-time executive of the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation in Michigan. During her tenure, the foundation amassed more than $64 million in new gifts and became the largest grant maker in northern Michigan, distributing over $2 million per year to nonprofits. She also developed ongoing educational and support efforts to help grow the foundation and local nonprofit community.

Jeanne retired from the Regional Community Foundation in 2010 to pursue consulting for other community foundations as an adjunct counsel for Ter Molen Watkins & Brandt, LLC.

She served on the boards of Chamber Music North and the Botanical Garden Society of Northwest Michigan. She also serves as a fund advisor for the Cleo M. Purdy fund at the Community Foundation and is a long-standing member of the Rotary Club.

Jeanne and her husband live in Traverse City, Michigan.
